Church Information: Year 1959, 24th day of September, he was baptized in the Church of God in Christ Jesus, under the stewardship of the late Bishop Dominador C. Datu of Rosales, Pangasinan. He was recommended by the Church as student pastor. While he was busy in his schooling, two years after, as part of his training, he was assigned as missionary to the Province of Isabela to conduct religious mission. He determined to launch in Quezon, Isabela, in Brgy. Minagbag to start his mission work. Year 1972, he was assigned as Division Overseer of Isabela mission work base in Echague, covering Quezon/Roxas district and to open a new activity between Echague, Cauayan and Ilagan district. After a few years of evangelical activities, locale church of Echague was again established. Year 1978 to 1984, thru the full cooperation of Minagbag locale church to the central church committee to give their support, Isabela experienced to reached the zenith of this grand religious activity. They were able to open a religious paid broadcast Radio Station DZYS and DWSI. In December 1985, Bishop Dominador Datu past away at the age of 75. His successor Marcelo De Leon, assumed the office as new  Bishop of the Church. Gerardo Osalla believed that it is right for him to leave the group and joined to the flock of the Iglesia ng Dios na pinapaging banal kay Cristo Jesus under the stewardship of the Council of Elders. The church welcome him with open arms. The spirit of brotherhood remain in the heart of the believers. The Council of Elders has no hesitant to grant him as one of their coworker as servant of God. This is to confirm that the God of peace, love and unity is dwelling in the heart of the believers. In January 7, 2006 he became an Area Minister of Isabela Area up to the present time.

FAMILY: Minister Gerardo Osalla Sr., belong to a peasant family. The youngest of four brothers. Lost parents and wife, with nine children, all are married. Employ his hand for his livelihood, and his head for the free instruction of the law. His livelihood mostly engaged in technical work. Particular electronic, electrical, refrigeration, photography and timewatch fixer.
